Nug
They say home is where the heart is... I don't really know who the "they" refers to, but that's what they say so I'll say it.
I was lucky enough to go home and spend time with my family and my wonderful pup, Penny Lane. She is not a puppy anymore but she still acts like one. I also never call her by her real name, I just call her Nug, (or any variation of the word Nug: Nug-face, Nuggito, Nuggie, etc.) Needless to say I am obsessed with her, let alone obsessed with all dogs. I do NOT have a T-shirt with her picture on it, I do NOT have a mug with her face on it and I do NOT have bumper stickers on my car that say, "I ruff my dog" but lets just say all the photos in my iphone are predominantly her. She's a fun little dog and I am so happy she is mine.

I feel very fortunate to live in such a wonderful city, but I think it is nice to get out of the noise and lights every now and then, and embrace some peace and quiet. You'll be surprised what a full nights sleep will do for you and no matter what, sleeping in your own bed just happens to be the best. Unless you go to some fancy-shmancy resort and sleep in one of those beds that has a down mattress, (oh you fancy huhhhh) then you are just plain lucky. Also, there's nothing better than your own shower. Everything is exactly where it's supposed to be. Go home, eat comfort food, take a hot shower, sleep in your own bed and tell the people in your life how much you truly love them.
